Marine Plywood, Surrounding Paneling Elegance, and Pine Angle Brackets
The structural backbone of our KVL 27 model is formed by marine plywood (su kontrası), which acts as a shield against the most ruthless outdoor conditions (rain, high humidity, sun) and is also used in the maritime industry. The surface of the door is crafted with a paneling (lambri) pattern that gives a classic and warm feeling. The most striking architectural feature of this model is that the paneling design on the door transcends the door boundaries and continues as paneling plate cladding on the exterior walls. This application adds a massive and integrated wooden monument appearance to the entrance. At the corner ends of the frame, special pine wood angle brackets are used, providing extra resistance against water and impacts while reinforcing naturalness.

Is cladding the walls outside the door with paneling plates resistant to rain?
Yes, it is highly resistant. Insulation is provided by using marine plywood, which shows full resistance against outdoor conditions, water, and humidity, and marine glues suitable for exteriors on both the door surface and the wall cladding.
Does the glass section on the left create a security vulnerability?
It absolutely does not. The glasses used in our KVL 27 model are not ordinary glasses, but special architectural security glasses that are extra resistant to heavy impacts and reinforced against breaking. Furthermore, it protects your privacy with its structure that does not show the inside.
Why was pine wood preferred for the corners?
When properly treated, pine wood shows excellent flexibility and resistance against water, moisture, and impacts. Pine wood angle brackets were used at the corner ends of the frame, which are most likely to receive impacts, to both reinforce naturalness and increase structural durability.
