Flawless Harmony of Laminate Surface and Glittery Lacquered Column Detail
The aesthetic backbone of our KTS 11 model is the laminate coating main surface, which is extremely resistant to external factors, easy to clean, and defies the years. However, the most striking feature that turns this door into a true design marvel is the detail located in the edge area where the pull handle is attached. In this area, a lacquered coating enriched with glittery paint, descending like a column from the very top of the door to the bottom, is used. This tremendous contrast between the matte and natural stance of the laminate and the sparkling, smooth surface of the glittery lacquer gives the door a dynamic and top-segment character.
Enhanced Durability with PP Coated and Glittery Painted Architraves
In Kurtoğlu engineering, aesthetics is always supported by maximum durability. PP (Polypropylene) coating technology, which acts as a shield against bumps and abrasions, is used on the architraves surrounding the door frame. Is the lacquered surface treated with glittery paint difficult to clean?
It is definitely not difficult. Since lacquered surfaces have a completely smooth and pore-free structure, it is hard for dust to cling. You can use this column-shaped glittery lacquer detail with its first-day shine for many years by simply wiping it with a slightly damp microfiber cloth without using harsh chemicals.
Why was painted PP coating preferred on the architraves instead of direct paint?
The architraves (edges of the door frame) are the areas most exposed to impacts while moving furniture or in daily use. PP (Polypropylene) coating creates a flexible and extremely scratch-resistant barrier. The glittery paint applied over this strong armor both provides a unique visual harmony with the wing design and maximizes the paint's resistance to impacts.
