The Simple and Balanced Face of Modern Architecture: Duo KTS 02 Custom Steel Door
In today's luxury residential projects, entrance doors are far beyond being a simple tool that cuts off a building's connection with the outside world; they are the strongest showcase reflecting the character, artistic vision, and the importance given to security of that space at first glance. As Kurtoğlu Steel Door, with our innovative engineering approach challenging mediocrity and monotony, we craft each door with the meticulousness of a work of art. Specially designed and produced for Sur Yapı projects, which sign massive architectural investments in Turkey, our KTS 02 model perfectly reflects our minimalist design philosophy and high-security infrastructure, going far beyond fabricated molds. Flawless Combination of Two-Piece Laminate and Moisture-Resistant Structure
The aesthetic backbone of our KTS 02 model is formed by a laminate coating that adds a resolute and modern stance to the space. The most prominent characteristic feature of this model is that the door surface is created by the flawless combination of two identical pieces of laminate coating. Feeding on the power of symmetry and simplicity, this balanced design adapts perfectly to modern projects. Obtained by pressing papers impregnated with an artificial resin solution under high heat and pressure, the laminate surface is extra resistant to external factors and moisture. Not requiring additional processes such as varnish or polish, this coating also offers great practicality in daily life with its easy-to-clean structure.
Monolithic Security: Unshakeable Monoblock Lock System
An eye-catching design reaches Kurtoğlu standards only when crowned with impenetrable security. Our KTS 02 model is equipped with a Monoblock Lock System featuring a single-piece steel body. As the keyhole and the locking mechanism are housed within a single unit, this system has far fewer moving parts, showing extraordinary resistance against external sledgehammer or crowbar forcing and mechanical failures. Offering a long-lasting and practical use, monoblock locks turn your home into an unshakeable fortress for your family.
Sheet Metal Thickness and Armoring Strategy (Kurtoğlu Engineering Art)
As Kurtoğlu Steel Door, we see security not as a standard, but as an engineering art. At the locking points of our doors, we offer an impenetrable steel armor barrier with a total thickness of 2.5 mm, making burglary attempts impossible. Thanks to our project-specific boutique production power rather than mass fabrication, we can increase this steel protection shield up to 2.7 mm thick in elite projects demanding extra high-level security.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Will there be any opening or separation at the junction of the two piece laminate over time?
Absolutely not. Our laminate coatings are integrated onto the steel wing under high heat and pressure in advanced technology press machines. The combination of the two pieces is achieved flawlessly with millimeter precision and will not peel, pop, or open over time.
Is the laminate coating really resistant to moisture?
Yes, it is resistant. Because the laminate is pressed by being impregnated with an artificial resin solution, it shows a much higher resistance to moisture, scratches, and daily use wear compared to standard wooden surfaces. It is an extremely long-lasting solution for apartment interiors and sheltered entrances.
If the monoblock lock system breaks, is it necessary to change the entire door?
No. Monoblock locks are a single-piece compact system and are far less prone to failure. However, in the event of a possible need for a lock change, it is extremely easy and practical to simply replace the internal lock mechanism (cylinder) without damaging the door.
